1. Who we are
Aswati ("Aswati", "we", "us", "our") is a halal audio service operated by Masirah, a media holding company based in the Sultanate of Oman. Masirah is the data controller responsible for your personal data under this policy.

2. What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data we collect across aswati.co, studio.aswati.co, and related pages, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
3. Data we collect

| Account credentials | When you register for Studio. Passwords are handled and stored in hashed form by Google Firebase Authentication — we never see your raw password. |

| Support messages | Messages you send us through in-app support chat. |
| Subscription / Whop username | To verify and sync your active membership and entitlements. |
| Usage & analytics data | With your consent, anonymous statistics about how pages are used (via Google Analytics), plus standard server/log data such as IP address and browser type. |
We do not collect or store your card or bank details. Payments are processed entirely by Whop (see below).
4. Why we use your data (legal bases)
- To provide the service — create your account, deliver content you are entitled to, and respond to support requests (performance of a contract).
- To send you the resources you request — e.g. free vocal packs and related updates (consent).
- To understand and improve the site — analytics, only where you have given consent.
- To protect the service — preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access (legitimate interest).
- To meet legal obligations — where the law requires us to keep or disclose records.
5. Third parties (processors) we use
We share data only with the service providers needed to run Aswati. Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms:

| Whop | Subscription checkout and payment processing. |
Some of these providers may process data outside Oman, including in the EU and the United States. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
6. Cookies & analytics
We use a small number of cookies. Cookies that are strictly necessary to log you in and keep the site working are always on. Analytics cookies are loaded only after you accept via our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link.
7. How long we keep data
We keep account data for as long as your account is active, and email-list data until you unsubscribe. After that, we delete or anonymize data within a reasonable period unless we are legally required to retain it.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including Oman's Personal Data Protection Law and, for users in the EU/UK, the GDPR), you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete your data ("right to be forgotten");
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent at any time (e.g. unsubscribe, or decline analytics);
- request a copy of your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these, email admin@aswati.co. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Security
We rely on industry-standard infrastructure (Google Firebase) and access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.
10. Children
Aswati is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate we will notify you.
